💫 Lunar Eclipse & Full Blood Moon perfects 12°VIRGO54’ @ 6:38 AM EST. No void-of-course times apply to this lunation; however, rituals should not be conducted during an eclipse.

A lunar eclipse occurs only at the time of the full Moon, when the Earth passes between the Sun and Moon, thereby temporarily depriving the Moon of its illumination.

JUST FOR FUN: PRENATAL ECLIPSE

Some astrologers believe that if a pre-natal eclipse is closer to the natal North Node, the life will be easier; if closer to the South Node, the person will face greater challenges. The house placement is also highly significant.

My North Node and Ascendant are both in Libra. The closest to my birth date was a first house solar eclipse October 02 @ 08°LIBRA34’. The first house is ruled by Mars and one of identity and life bearing the beginnings of all enterprises. As a Scorpio, Mars is also my traditional ruler. Make of that what you will.

While I can say that I have faced many difficulties in this life, but they worked out remarkably to make my life much easier.

FACTS & FOLKLORE

According to the Farmer’s Almanac, this lunation assumes the moniker of “Full Worm Moon” because in March, the soil begins to warm and earthworms, beetle larvae, and grubs emerge from winter dormancy, providing early spring food for birds and other animals.

This full moon marks the transition from winter to spring in the Northern Hemisphere and is associated with the first signs of life returning to nature. As the weather shifts into early spring, strong winds are common as air temperatures rise.

The Choctaw and Cherokee of the southeastern US, as well as the Catawba of South Carolina, call the March full Moon the “Wind Moon” because of this. Similar names are found in Celtic culture with “Moon of Winds.”

One critical aspect of spring food is when sap rises in trees, permitting sap collection to make maple syrup and maple sugar.

The Ojibwe of southern Canada call the March full Moon the “Sugar-Making Moon” to note that importance, and likewise, the Shawnee of Ohio and Pennsylvania use the term “Sap Moon” this month.

CULTURAL

To many astrologers, Lunar Eclipse energy a powerful teacher, catalyst, and deeply transformative period in our lives. So powerful that the course of our lives can be altered at this time. This can include abrupt and unexpected changes involving beginnings and endings.

Some cultures believe a Lunar Eclipse brings bad luck, so they refuse to eat during the event. They keep their food covered so it will not become contaminated by the bad energy. 

Others report feeling a greater sense of peace, and a higher overall level of understanding.

In Christianity it was an indication of the end of the world or the second coming of Christ. The connection was made from the Biblical passage of Joel 2:30, which read: “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness. And the moon into blood Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.”

Full Moons enable us to see things that are normally hidden. This may not feel like a blessing dependent upon the situation; however, it’s certainly a pivotal point improving our lives based upon the decisions we make with this revelation.

I believe the Moon controls emotions as it does the tides of the oceans. Many believe that an eclipse can reset our emotions and unleash emotional and spiritual clarity that eliminates past emotional baggage.

Whatever we may individually believe, may we each know that we have the power to respond to any situation by altering our perspective to acceptance and gratitude.

PENUMBRAL ECLIPSE AND FULL BLOOD MOON IN VIRGO

The NN in Pisces is about releasing the desire to control others and/or circumstances. It involves an inward focus rather than outward for what we desire. The SN in Virgo can be highly critical of themselves and others but aren’t overall content. This tendency for perfectionism keeps them from losing control.

With the Sun opposing the Moon, we can wrestle with strong urges and blocks. Many of us will experience discomfort, while those of us ruled by Mercury (Virgo/Gemini) and Neptune (Pisces), are more used to working with the energetic signature, though Mercury’s current retrograde may throw a monkey-wrench into the works.

With Venus and Saturn as co-rulers, the aesthetics of beauty combined with the commitment to excellence take form here. 

This is also reflected in the applicable Tarot Card for this Decan: The Nine of Pentacles, where Venus is depicted in a flourishing garden donning noble clothing while surrounded by coins: the reward of hard work.

T. Susan Chang refers to this decan as “Isolation Alone.” Austin Coppock refers to this card’s emphasis on perfection.

Looks can be deceiving, and while the lady may look perfect and content, she may actually be feeling depressed or “profound discomfort”.

This decan is also linked to the Moirai, the three goddesses of fate, questioning how the threads of fate run through our lives.

In Plato’s myth of Er, he recounts the words of a prophet, “[. . . ] behold a new cycle of life and mortality. [ . . . ] [V]irtue is free, and as a man honors or dishonours her will have more or less of her; the responsibility is with the chooser—God is justified.”

Jupiter Stations Direct in Cancer tomorrow night @ 11:30 PM, EST. 

Jupiter initially entered Cancer last June and stationed retrograde last October @ 25° Cancer to backstep 10°. This means it will re-cross over 15° - 25° for the third time (forward, retrograde, forward). If you have any planets on those degrees, particularly in Cancer, this retrograde and forward station will activate them. 

JUPITARIAN SCIENCE

Jupiter holds the record as the largest planet in our solar system; however, it once reached twice its modern size accompanied by a more intense magnetic field. The gravitational force of Jupiter earned it the title "architect" of our solar system due to its essential role in determining the orbital patterns of other planets.

Due to its enormous size and powerful magnetic field, Jupiter serves as a cosmic protector of the inner planets by deflecting hazardous asteroids and comets that could threaten Earth and its neighboring planets.

The solar system's most powerful magnetosphere extends millions of miles into space while trapping intense radiation, thus creating an extremely harsh environment. The absence of Jupiter's protective influence would lead to a drastically altered solar system.

MYTHOLOGY

Jupiter (Latin Iūpiter) served as the ancient Roman god of religion and mythology and held reverence as the deity of the sky and thunder. The image of Jupiter frequently includes him holding a thunderbolt while his connection to the eagle represents his strength and supreme rule. The Roman state regarded Jupiter as its guardian while his worship formed a key part of their religious traditions.

The Roman deity Jupiter shares similarities with Zeus who is the sovereign of the Greek pantheon. Their stories and symbols show great resemblance, but each deity was honored through different cultural traditions and religious ceremonies. The Romans incorporated numerous elements from Greek mythology into their own beliefs, yet Jupiter stood apart as a figure that represented Roman values and ideals.

The influence of Jupiter reaches beyond mythological tales to shape both language and cultural elements. The word "jovial" comes from "Jove" which is another name for Jupiter and signifies a disposition that is cheerful and friendly. The planet Jupiter bears his name which demonstrates his long-lasting importance throughout ancient times up until the present day.

JUPITER IN CANCER

Jupiter, known as the planet of expansion, growth, and optimism, is always in pursuit of grand truths. It rules Sagittarius and is linked with the higher mind, encompassing philosophy, truth, and religion. Also known as the greater benefic, Jupiter rules over wealth, leisure, business, and aspirations, Jupiter's action is orderly and promotes growth because it expands whatever it touches: Positive or negative.

Its transit through Gemini was considered detrimental; therefore, prior to entering Cancer, it may have taken quite the effort to glean sanguinity and prosperity from this giant. There was certainly quite a bit of chaos during its Gemini trek. Some of Jupiter's forthright manner and playfulness were most likely absorbed by the flighty twins' agenda of growth. 

As the largest and most benevolent of all planets, Jupiter stood and remains standing exalted for the first time in over twelve years when it entered Cancer last June. This heralded 13 months of a slower pace, emotional expansion, an intuitive sense of nurturing, and a solid familial connection as home and family move to the forefront. 

That doesn't imply we remained within the walls of our abodes by any means! On the contrary, Jupiter favors long-distance travel, and despite being homebodies, Cancer loves to travel and is on board for excursions into new discoveries. 

Trips during this transit should've proven beneficial in ways that we may not be able to imagine if we eschew the typical tourist haunt. Instead, seek authentic connections with local residents to learn their traditions. We may have chosen not to document our every meal but be present in the moment.

Auspicious travel isn't all we can expect. Financial security is also spotlighted during this transit. Expect the office atmosphere to become more domesticated and aesthetically pleasing. Home-based businesses are particularly blessed. Looking to purchase a home? Historically this placement indicates opportunities in the market, particularly for first-time home buyers, so save and/or invest as much as possible. 

THE HISTORY OF JUPITER IN CANCER

Jupiter in Cancer has a history of redefining family and expanding marriage rights through landmark rulings like Loving v. Virginia (1967) and United States v. Windsor (2013). And while some nations are more inclusive regarding the definition of family, it most likely won't be here in the U.S., at least not under the current administrations push for Christian nationalism and "traditional family values". 

What we can expect, however, is perhaps expanded (Jupiter) support for multi/co-parenting arrangements, where extended family (Cancer) or even close friends legally share responsibilities. After all, it takes a village, especially in today's times.

This seems is validated through Census.gov, who claims that in 2024, nearly two-thirds of U.S. households were family households, and 36% of those were unmarried-couple households. This means a large proportion of children are now being raised by unmarried parents, often in same-sex or opposite-sex cohabiting relationships.

The same data from 2024 reports that among single mothers, 52.1% have never married, and many are raising children in cohabiting arrangements. That number rose in 2025 according to Claimyr, who states "Many unmarried couples raising children are cohabiting partners who live together year-round. They may or may not be legally married, but they share parenting responsibilities and often financial arrangements. 

According to my research, the U.S. marriage rate has declined by over half since 1900, with the sharpest drops in the 20th century.  In practice, however, cohabitation remains a common and stable family form, with many couples providing stable homes for children despite not being married.

• Jupiter is the natural significator and the most important planet responsible for fertility and pregnancy. Cancer is the sign of motherhood and fertility. Under this current administration, where reproductive rights are being wrenched away from women, we can expect a wider polarization of factions. 

Since 2007, the U.S. fertility rate has dropped by about 22%, and births have fallen by 16% over the same period according to Gizmodo. The 2024 low is consistent with long‑term trends, with sociologists expecting continued decline unless major policy changes address parental leave, childcare, and economic stability according to CBS news.

While more liberal or progressive states push to legally retain a woman's autonomy, conservatives will push to implement restrictions, even amid the latest death in Texas last week—a woman seeking a necessary D&C. She was denied and bled to death.

This philosophical divide could produce community upheavals to the point of mass relocation that aligns with personal systems of belief. 

Thus, creating a wider chasm of polarization.

• The Berlin Wall fell when Jupiter was transiting Cancer in 1989, and unity was born from division. While currently there appears to be an increase in "Christian nationalism", it's being countered by leaders through inclusive rallies advocating for separation of church and state, women's autonomy, and immigrant/LGBTQ+ rights. 

• Because exalted Jupiter in Cancer amplifies emotional growth, it creates a safe environment to foster that growth. As the patriarchy magnifies through ICE deportations, LGBTQ+ persecution, and the dissolution of women's rights, sanctuary cities (Washington DC, Atlanta, et al), counties (Durham and Orange, et al) and states (California and Colorado, et al) may increase to ease the rift and offer better opportunities.

Despite the Supreme Court declining to hear a case challenging the constitutionality of same-sex marriage in November 2025, a month after Jupiter turned retrograde, domestic concerns regarding LBTGQ+ immigrants, women's rights and children are likely to increase. Grassroots organizations and rise of powerfully progressive leaders could eliminate a majority of those concerns, personal bigotry in the heart of racists aside. 

• Gandhi led anti-colonial movements, beginning in 1919 when Jupiter was transiting Cancer. His movement encompassed justice through empathy. We are currently witnessing the rise of powerful leaders and grassroots organizations whose goal is to dispel the ignorance and fear of "religious doctrine" and unite factions through love and compassion. 

• I predicted that Jupiter’s trek through Cancer may influence diplomacy and fuel humanitarian efforts to assist war-torn populations such as Ukraine and Gaza. 

Today as I write this, the prime minister of England just announced they will place boots on the ground in Ukraine to force peace efforts. I still believe Palestine will prevail in the end though am highly disappointed with so much condemnation of the state of Zionist Israel (not to be confused with Judaism) without action to protect Palestine and her residents. 

JUPITER IN CANCER NATAL

While there is no cookie-cutter astrology, there are recorded traits and patterns of zodiac signs throughout the centuries. Some are listed below; however, much depends on the aspects your natal planets are making. This is why consulting with a professional astrology is imperative for understanding. 

You're in good company with others whose natal Jupiter resides in Cancer: Warren Buffet, known as the "Oracle of Omaha", Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and Joe Biden, among others. 

Jupiter in Cancer natives have been observed to possess generosity, sympathy, and poise. 

They excel in public relations and enjoy connecting with a variety of people. This also makes them excellent salespeople. They most likely had a firm family foundation and a special love for children. They are known for their love of entertaining in their own home, and making others feel welcome and supported. 

A noted caveat of this coupling is Cancer's inadvertent overlooking of individual needs (theirs and others), and overprotectiveness in order to keep their tribe together. Their soft-centered heart can unintentionally become clingy and find it difficult to separate their own feelings from those of others.

Fourth Quarter Square, void-of-course (VC) and out-of-bounds (OOB S') Moon in Sagittarius. 

I have articles on both the VC and OOB aspects of this lunation on my site linked below. In short, the VC period will last all day until the Moon enters Capricorn just after midnight. "Nothing will come of this" is the axiom; therefore, it's advisable to not begin major projects or make life decisions at this time. 

Compounding this is an unpredictable OOB S' position, indicating inward action such as planning complements the Lunar regression phase: valuation regarding situations, relationships and/or projects no longer serving our interest.  

This also applies to clutter-clearing, such as cleaning out a desk or kitchen cabinet to create space by shifting the energy.  Sweeping the clutter from our minds can sustain our commitments: Ritual baths, saging, candles, and music all contribute to an atmosphere of continuation rather than giving up, as this square would have us consider. 

This phase is indicative of a crisis of action because it's so easy for us to give up trying if we feel we haven't made progress. If we feel somewhat melancholy, or drained, it's perfectly normal for this phase. Here we can recalibrate to the natural cycles of the world before resuming our plans.

The Moon in Sagittarius promotes higher learning and open minds; therefore, engaging in the study of something that has always interested us would be a perfect way to prepare for the New Moon. It could be anything from religion to philosophy, being this is the sign which contains prophecy and wisdom. 

Next week's New Moon in Pisces will initiate another cycle that can serve as a springboard to set our plans into action. Therefore, spend this waning phase preparing. Enjoy this period to slowdown, relax, and dream up what you wish to manifest. 

The Moon controls the tides of the largest bodies of water on our planet. To think that we, who are 70%+ water are not affected is an oversight. The Lunar cycle and seasons are a perfect way to mark time rather than one long continuous tick around the minutes, hours, and days. 

Once you begin to recognize the repetitive patterns of the seasons and their subsequent inclusions such as observations and holidays, you'll begin to associate how they affect you with a clearer understanding. 

Becoming attune to the Moon will actually become a natural way for you to plan out your intentions and the subsequent pathways to follow them to fruition. 

Regardless of what the heavens look like from Earth, be it stormy or clear, one thing remains true above this ever-changing atmosphere: the Moon remains in perfect sync with her cycle. 

Could this be a metaphor that regardless of the storms we may face here in the physical world, or Spirit in the Spiritual world is still in perfect sync with its cycle?

It's not too late to practice gratitude, and in doing so, we may experience a surprise awakening and opportunity to end a negative habit or pattern.

No major aspects - Dark Moon in Pisces Discussion

Dark Moon 14° Pisces 38' perfects tomorrow night @ 9:23 PM, EDT. This is a time of clearing and preparation for Wednesday's New Moon in Pisces. Meditating, resting, journaling, and clutter clearing will all create space for fresh energy.

Of course, follow your heart; however, the more we "do" the less time we have to receive the infusion of energy, which in and of itself provides answers and guidance we need.  

HISTORY OF THE DARK MOON

Per Demetra George, the moon was surmised to be feminine due to the correlation between the twenty-nine days of the Moon's cycle and the twenty-nine days of women's menstrual cycles, the ancients surmised that the Moon must be feminine.

During the waning dark phase of the Moon's cycle, the fruit that has been left on the vine to go to seed withers and decomposes in preparation to grow new fruit. 

Matriarchal cultures who venerated the Goddess since the upper Paleolithic ties were conquered and destroyed by patriarchal, warlike races who carried superior weapons. 

The earliest peoples understood that the power of life lay in the darkness of the Moon. But after thousands of years humanity forgot this truth and began to fear the power in the waning dark Moon.

The Dark Moon time is a perfect time of retreat, of healing, and of dreaming the future. The darkness is lit with the translucent quality of transformation; and during this essential and necessary period, life is prepared to be born.

DEEPER THROUGH THE DECAN AND TAROT 

This lunation occurs in the second decan of Pisces (10° - 19°), which, according to Nicola Allan, Astrologer, author, and illustrator, represents "Wish Fulfilment", indicating that our hard work will yield positive results. 

Co-ruled by Jupiter and the Moon, blessings and abundance are present, as indicated by the associated minor arcana tarot card, the Nine of Cups. This card corroborates my weekly collective card pull, the Queen of Pentacles, indicating a Lady of Wealth who balances between home and business, is financially secure, wise, and independent. A woman who hasn't gotten caught up in just wealth but willingly nurtures her loved ones and others.

As the Queen of Pentacles, the Nine of Cups is known as the "Lord of Happiness" in the Golden Dawn tradition. T. Susan Chang refers to this card as "Fishes and Wishes. . .not expectations." Here appreciating the unexpected equates to happiness, according to Chang. 

Jupiter is also the traditional ruler of Pisces; therefore, exerts a great deal of influence as co-ruler of this decan. Is it any wonder this period is filled with the reflection of the tarot in regard to wealth and success. The best part of this yield is that it's not limited to physical rewards, but spiritual as well. 

Kyra Ryberg points out that the actual pursuit of "high and great matters" is enabled by the security of personal needs being met; thus, there is time for contemplation regarding the big picture. 

This decan is referred to as "The Net" by Austin Coppock, who goes on to note those who walk this decan "are anchored in the invisible, yet step forward to play important roles in the visible world." This may not be a particularly easy path; however, reconciling our illusion (Neptune) with expanded intuition (Jupiter/Moon) enable us to not only face hard realities but bring harmony and balance to them. 

The Moon in Pisces, ruled by Neptune, is a sleepy, dreamy, trancelike state that allows us to escape from the harshness of reality. However, the reality is that too often we induce this state by succumbing to sleep, meditation, drugs, or alcohol. 

Lastly, the Moon in Pisces transit portends susceptibility to emotional assaults, especially when we're in the most impressionable state. Yet it's also when we're at our most spiritual because our boundaries have been lowered. This produces compassion, increased intuition, and sensitivity to those less fortunate. 

This is the perfect time to hold or attend a sacred circle or some other type of spiritual event or group.  

The Dark Moon is 24 hours prior to the New Moon. So anytime except during the void-of-course period listed below is perfect for a ritual that will clear the way for the New Moon in Pisces Wednesday evening.

As explained during yesterday's Dark Moon in Pisces post, Pisces represents the spiritual or escapist urge; therefore, we may feel compelled to utilize addictive means or behavior which allows us to escape the harshness of reality because we're the most susceptible to emotional assaults.  If we've escaped reality for a dreamy and/or nostalgic illusion, we'll become susceptible to the influence of other's energy and emotions. 

As a mutable sign, Pisces is already impressionable to outside influences, particularly strong ones who exert traits of dominance. Yet it doesn't stop there, the spiritual realm is also involved and can be negatively impacted if we aren't vigilant in our spiritual practices. 

This is also a period when we can advance spiritually because our boundaries are at their lowest and compassion, intuition, and sensitivity to those less fortunate can rise. This is why it's imperative to find a balance between the escapist and spiritual urge as a tool of navigation and form of protection.

Being around others who inspire us can provide a firm foundation to keep us grounded in reality while allowing our dreams, visions, and goals to take center stage. 

It is a perfect time to begin to consider action on new ventures, projects, and connections. Formulating steps and/or a direction is also favorable, especially with an Aries' moon advancing.

This cosmic event occurs in Pisces' third decan, who Nicola Allan, author, astrologer, and illustrator, refers to as, "Deep Sacrifice," indicating that dedication and hard work are required to achieve our mark. 

Mars is the ruler and co-ruler of this Decan, lending passion, energy, and a drive that enables us to attain limitless ground; however, within its realm is also impulsivity, an animal nature, and violence born of a dominant, competitive urge. Austin Coppock refers to this decan as "A Bowl of Blood," inferring that we are willing to attain our goals "no matter the cost." 

This decan presents an opportunity for favorable outcomes as long as we know which direction we're going in. Otherwise, we'll end up in a pool of pent-up energy.  leading to a potential eruption. 

Ask yourself what is worth sacrificing for? Make certain it's not an illusion of love or gain, but the clear reality of the hard work ahead for attainment. As Coppock says, "this face is littered with broken dreams and failed martyrs—those who sacrificed themselves to an illusion," because they were "only too willing to engage themselves in the romantic." 

The associated Tarot card is the Ten of Cups, reflecting the outcome by indicating struggles and/or troubles are fading away. 

The storm has passed and the rainbow emerged.  However, what did the family have to endure before this moment of joyful celebration? 

T. Susan Chang shares that, "If you choose the right endpoint, bliss can shimmer into view," reiterating how important it is to hold your vision in absolute clarity. With Jupiter's expansive ability and Mars' energetic drive, we may find ourselves, according to Coppock, in a "merger with the Universe itself." 

Eschew the propensity for detours of doubt preventing us from arriving at our final destination. Tomorrow night's New Moon offers us a fresh start and ideal opportunity to connect with our inner wisdom. Surrendering in trust and belief to the journey ahead of us is imperative.

ASPECTS

Venus in Aries square Jupiter in Cancer at noon, increasing our desire for the finer things in life: Art, beauty, fine foods, and pleasurable company. However, with that desire comes the risk of over-indulgence, particularly in dining and spending. Guard against both and the day/evening should be pleasurable under this burgeoning New Moon in Pisces. 

Late afternoon, the Sun in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus, bringing a fresh energy to the mix. We may feel energetic and ready for new and exciting experiences. Change is in the air, and they can reflect positive outcomes with a modicum of discipline. While we may be assuaged to resist restrictive authority, best not to forgo what's important for our health and wellbeing. 

Right before the New Moon in Pisces perfects, it will sextile Uranus in Taurus on the same degree and minute as the above aspect. Mercury stations Direct 08° Pisces 29' 🎉

Mercury initially stationed retrograde February 25 @ 22°; thus, will move back over 14° for the third time. 

Pay particular attention to these degrees, especially if you have any planets or the nodes on them. This powerfully potent astrological event conjoins stationary energy with repetition of a retrograde pattern.

WHY THIS MATTERS

A planet in direct motion's energy is amplified, unless it enters its detrimental or fall zodiac sign (according to some astrologers), or stations retrograde. Mercury especially, as it's the fastest moving planet. When Mercury heralds a slowdown, it's best to listen. 

The stationary phase increases the planet’s influence, making the third revisit more potent than a single direct or retrograde. Here our ability to notice communication, behavioral or emotional patterns is amplified. Especially if our planets are making favorable aspects during this third revisit. 

This revisit, particularly in our natal chart, for the third time can be viewed as major shifts in our lives involving career, relationships, or personal epiphanies, symbolizing the completion of a cycle. This is important to note because now is the chance to change what isn't promoting our growth. 

If we miss this chance, it will come back around until we grip its meaning and apply it to our lives, but any change begins and happens quicker by paying attention when you know there's a current opportunity. 

MERCURY DIRECT IN PISCES

Mercury stationing in Pisces redefines intuitive reliance. 

Mercury is logical; Pisces is intuitive. Mercury is intellectual; Pisces is dreamy; however, during his retrograde through this intuitive sign, we may have experienced uncertainty and a lack of mental grasp. 

This was simply Mercury's way of slowing us down. 

As is typical with the prince of communication, patron of merchants, guardian of travelers, and all-around jokester, delaying life-changing or important decisions until after this reacclimating period was advisable. Especially now that the Sun has entered Aries, where we'll receive an energetic boost of mental acuity and follow-through action.

Just keep in mind that the Moon is void-of-course all day today, so it's best not to begin a new business venture or make life-altering decisions until it enters Taurus overnight. Tomorrow, it's full steam ahead, and with the Moon in Taurus, whatever we begin can be lasting. 

MERCURY AND PISCES

As a representative of the avenues of expression, Mercury rules the brain and ALL hormones; thus, we may feel emotional fatigue or imbalanced during this adjustment period. We may also discover difficulty staying productive and focused. 

Choosing to spend our time in quiet reflection and study, or doing things we truly enjoy, especially in nature, will benefit us the most during the final steps of this watery transit.

This occurs in the final decan of Pisces (20°29'), doubly ruled by Mars, preceding the astrological new year.  This decan is referred to as a "Bowl of Blood" per Austin Coppock, a leading figure in traditional astrology, who relates it to "the attainment of one's desires, no matter the cost."  

Pisces, ruled by the 12th house, can be "littered with broken dreams and failed martyrs—those who find themselves to an illusion," Coppock adds. However, this house is also related to the attainment of spiritual heights; therefore, we do have the opportunity here for a favorable ending and the attainment of our goals, which require disengaging the romantic for the knowledge of what we truly wish to pursue with all we have. 

According to Agrippa, author and astrologer, there is a cheery aspect to this decan that reflects "a naked man or youth, and nigh his signification for rest, idleness, delights, fornication, and for embracing of women." This is solidified by Johannes Angelus, who writes, "it is a face of fornication and the embraces of great delight with women and loving peace and quietness."

The associated Tarot is the Ten of Cups, indicating a blissful scene of a happy couple under a rainbowed arch of cups, their children playing gleefully upon a beautiful landscape. T. Susan Chang refers to this decan as "The Rainbow Unwoven" and writes, "If you choose the right endpoint, bliss can shimmer into view." 

Mars brings double motivation, and Jupiter, traditional ruler of Pisces, is the expansive leap. This decan may inspire lust; however, "the true object of passions is a merger with the universe itself. The face and body of the beloved are a mask, and entry point into the experience of all-as-bliss." adds Coppock. 

A BIT MORE

Awareness and grounding exercises can assist our focus to prevent impractical thoughts or feeling misunderstood, which can lead to procrastination and indolence. Avoid too much caffeine and sugar, as they can be emotional triggers via hormones. For many women, soy is also a factor to be considered and can affect the hormones in a detrimental manner (it certainly did mine). 

Be charitable toward others and ourselves alleviates the urge to escape into a form of addictive behavior. Believing in our self and our ability to make a vital contribution to this planet through the creative process eases this transit for those who find it challenging.

First Quarter Square, OOB N' Moon 05° Cancer 09'—A Time of Inner Understanding and Control. 

The first quarter moon can be seen as a symbol of growth and planning because the moon is burgeoning toward the fullness of her light. This is called the "yang" phase, a masculine reference which implies strength and determination to achieve the fullness of one's goals.

However, this may not come easily while the Sun square Saturn followed by the Moon square Neptune and Saturn before squaring the Sun. This is a cocktail requiring balance between give and take, illusion and reality, and self-identity.  

In alignment with the Spring months, it's typically a time of work and preparation to reap the harvest of labor until the "yin" phase, symbolizing winter. And that doesn't change with this lunation nor it's aspects; however, it may be a good day for an extended break consisting of deep reflection. 

Or we can push forward, banging our head against a proverbial brick wall because taskmaster Saturn is present for a reason. Wouldn't you rather blend love and need together for a greater understanding of not just ourselves but others? 

A saving grace of this challenging phase is the sextile between the Sun in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius 20 minutes before the first quarter square, prompting us to delve into issues concerning business and/or relationships. 

This may result in further study on a subject that interests us or realizing that conformation on a collective goal will pay off in the future. 

This cycle can be challenging even though the Moon is dignified in Cancer. Representative of the Divine Feminine and intuition, both Cancer and the Moon are maternal, nurturing, and domestic. Our concepts of devotion, sensitivity, and patience may feel enhanced at this time. 

Yet, because of the square to the Sun, beware of leaning toward the darker side of Cancerian traits such as insecurity that could lead down a path to clinginess, especially if we feel our attempts to nurture others is ignored and/or unappreciated. Give and take equates to giving to self as well. 

Nurturing can be defined as allowing others distance to resolve their issues. We can't consider their needs if we make their actions about ourselves. 

Times such as these highlight the importance of evaluating methods to ensure our actions align with desires. Fortunately, the planets are favorably aligned for such an assessment.

Why is important to think about.

An OOB Moon, particularly when North (N'), indicates outward rather than inward action. We may feel somewhat disconnected, as though we are on the periphery of whatever is occurring around us. We may even feel separated and an ungrounded sense of stability.

With this "spotlight" lunation comes vivaciousness, stability, consistency, and passion. Pay more attention to reality and face life with a more pragmatic and stable attitude. Leo is a fire sign ruled by the Sun, who reminds us to emphasize and focus awareness on ourselves.

FIRST HOUSE

This celestial event is occurring in the 1stHouse, the natural home of Aries ruled by Mars. This is a house of identity and life representing our Ascendant or rising sign. It's considered one of the most important points in the natal chart and reflects the exact degree ad sign that was on the eastern horizon at the moment of our birth. 

This placement reveals our personality, natural disposition and tendencies, individuality, and the manner we express ourselves. Basically, how we market ourselves to others—what we want the world to see.  This includes our physical body and health, our approach to life, worldly outlook, appearance, and the beginning of our enterprises. 

LEO

Leos are magnetic, romantic, generous, and creative! This lunation turns our attention away from others toward ourselves. 

Therefore, we do need to take care and avoid the melodrama associated with Leo Moons (dramatic with a capital D!). 

Leo is a very theatrical sign renowned for big entrances and the need for attention. When the Moon transits this proud sign, we all feel a need to be seen and appreciated for who we are. But need to avoid over-reacting based on personal perception and vanity. Instead, turning our focus to romance and family, entertainment and fun would better suit us.

This is the time to shine and discover the beauty in all parts of ourselves. Yes, even the shadow-aspects that encompass fear or rejection. Without contrast, courage is unneeded.

FULL SNOW MOON IN LEO

This has been called the Full Snow Moon for centuries due to the heavy snowfall in February. Cold late winter weather coincides with more moisture in the air in February in many northern areas, the snowfall is the heaviest of the year.

With this lunation comes vivaciousness, stability, consistency, and passion. Pay more attention to reality and face life with a more pragmatic and stable attitude. Leo is a fire sign ruled by the Sun, who reminds us to emphasize and focus awareness of ourselves.

Full Moon energy invites us to explore what we need to release and let of in order to stay in alignment with our intentions.

So much of our ability to collaborate and co-create in a healthy, dynamic way is rooted in our lovability and our own self-worth. This lunation invites us to explore how well we work and play with others. Do we serve something bigger than our ego? Can we lead and share without letting our need for recognition get in the way?

Are we feeling fully supported, nurtured, and valued? What growth needs to happen for us to be collaborative and supportive creators? How can we better allow ourselves to be supported and nurtured?

This lunation occurs in the second Decan of Leo (10° - 19°) co-ruled by Jupiter, known as the great benefic, indicating celebration and victory from hard work. 

Representing this decan is the Six of Wands from the tarot's minor arcana, revealing a man riding confidently through a cheering crowd celebrating his success, as indicated by the laurel wreath and white horse, both symbols of victory. 

"There is good luck and powerful fortune built into the very fabric of this decan," according to Nicola Allan, astrologer, author, and illustrator. In Crowley's Thoth Tarot, this is considered "Victory". 

Austin Coppock infers the laurel wreath indicates the "magical power of authenticity—here defined as a harmonious connection between the external sphere in which one acts and the spirit fire within each individual." 

It's important to note here, as Coppock does, that "great works do not guarantee any greatness of character" as expressed in the ancient aspects of this decan, which infer "a man who is ignorant and vile" and a woman who is "proud in taking away the wealth of others." 

This all indicates that in the solar light of success we are also gifted with an opportunity to review our capacity for hubris. Jupiter may bestow blessings; however, when combined with the Sun's rulership of Leo, there is clear potential for the full inflation of the ago, adds Allan. 

Enjoy the victory you've earned—just remain humble and heart-centered in the process. 

SNOW MOON MONIKER

According to Native American  legend:

"Native American tribes have labeled full moons for many reasons. This particular full moon is called the Snow Moon.

"The explanation behind February’s full Moon name is a fairly straightforward one: it’s known as the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall that occurs in February.

"On average, February is the United States’ snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather Service. In the 1760s, Captain Jonathan Carver, who had visited with the Naudowessie (Dakota), wrote that the name used for this period was the Snow Moon, “because more snow commonly falls during this month than any other in the winter.”

Early thru midmorning, Moon in Leo opposite Venus in Aquarius opposite Mercury in Aquarius trine Chiron in Aries.  Guard against expectations born of entitlement and avoid extravagance and/or overindulgence of food or drink this morning.  Avoid generalizations, particularly with others. 

Solitude or quiet time with someone we trust could produce a positive conversation that could reveal aspects of ourselves we never realized and actually lead to a form of healing through clarity. 

This is particularly accurate regarding our relationships and how we feel about them.

💫 Uranus transits Taurus every 84 years and initially entered the Bull in May 2018. We just experienced the final retrograde in Taurus, and now we're heading for the final re-entry into Gemini April 6th, where it will remain until 2033. 

Uranus will not return to Taurus until April of 2102.

UNDERSTANDING URANUS

🔑Uranus Keywords: The Awakener, Freedom Urge (from discontent), astrology, psychology, insight, futuristic, humanitarian, intellectual, eccentric, bohemian, egotistical, and utopian. 

📜Governs: Creative Will, Sudden Change, Revolution and Dictators, Individualism, Ingenuity, Rebellions, and Autonomy.

Uranus was discovered in 1781 by British astronomer William Herschel. Its name is a derivation of the letter "H" after Herschel. It's neutral, androgynous, and considered by many astrologers to be the upper octave of Mercury. It's the first of the transcendental planets and rules Aquarius (imagination) and the 11th House (social conscious/group relationships). 

Due to its history, Uranus represents the freedom urge ("divine discontent"), and its keyword is the awakener. It's been traveling through Taurus, the sign of its fall (in the planet opposite its exaltation), and has had difficulty expressing its true nature. This can be compared to staying at someone's house that you do not feel comfortable in. 

The national discontent can be judged as accurate through the current political climate in the U.S., with screams of freedom spiraling under the chaos of rising fascism. That's just it, there are many screams but a lack of action. In June I predicted that was going to change and I was right. People are taking to the streets not only in the U.S. but Hungary and other authoritarianism regimes across the globe.  

URANIAN FALL

Uranus is considered in its 'Fall' in Taurus because it's opposite the sign of its exaltation, Scorpio. Many astrologers believe that a planet in its 'fall' has difficulty expressing itself. It can be compared staying in a place you do not feel comfortable. 

My Uranus is in its detriment but within its own realm, the 11th house, the natural realm of Aquarius. This is the domain of social consciousness and group relations. Because my natal Uranus is positioned within its natural realm, it's difficult for me to discern if the belief in detriments or fallen planets is true. 

My humanitarian advocacy and other traits are reflective of both Uranus and the 11th house; however, if the theory of detriments and fallen planets is true, i.e. - they assume more of the coloring of the sign rather than the planet, then it's quite possible because many of these traits I possess are reflective of Aquarius' independent, rebellious nature. 

This is a topic one needs to personally experience for their own answers. 

TAURUS 

Taurus is the most steadfast and dependable sign of the zodiac, but also the sign who most resists change, exactly the thing Uranus implements throughout its Taurian transit. This is also a reason it's considered in its fall. 

As the awakener and architect of freedom from divine discontent, Uranus portends civil upheaval such as revolutions and natural disasters, particularly earthquakes. Its action is sudden, unexpected, and often violent. 

This has certainly proven to be a time of global upheavals caused by natural disasters, war, famine/food shortages, financial collapse, and massive setbacks when it comes to women's health, body, and fertility issues, all of which are Taurus-ruled subjects. Individually, this transit activates the realm of our natal Uranus. 

Uranus' transit through Taurus affected my life in massive ways internally and externally, particularly in the area of career.  In 2018, Uranus' initial transit into the Bull, I quit a job (without having another) and changed my career path as a whole.

For the past 8 years, these changes have liberated me of other people’s expectations by becoming my own boss. Stepping fully into my own business has allowed me to be more authentic in work and relationships without the distraction of authority expecting me to conform. 

It also revealed my uniqueness but solidified it by walking the talk and embodying my truth regardless of loss, and there has been plenty of that. Owning my actions and assuming responsibility for the consequences of my choices comes more naturally when not under the thumb of toxic authority. 

DEEPER THROUGH THE DECAN & TAROT

This transit occurs in the third decan of Taurus, doubly ruled by Saturn, requiring endurance and steadfastness when facing challenging situations. It's pushing through whether we feel like it or not. Saturn is the teacher and taskmaster of the zodiac; therefore, nothing is given here—everything must be earned. 

Austin Coppock considers this face "A String of Prayer Beads [representing] a confrontation with destructive factors which impeded completion." Here we need to be prepared for anything, such as Uranus' sudden upheavals. 

The good news is that the Litae are represented in this decan. The ancient text of the 36 Airs of the Zodiac, the Litae were considered a group of guiding spirits whose name translates to available "prayer" in times of trouble. They also infuse the benefic nature of Venus' rulership of Taurus as a reminder that nothing is too difficult to overcome with determination, and there are always forces willing to assist us when asked. 

The associated tarot card for this decan is the Seven of Pentacles, reflecting a gardener whose path is made up of mundane moments—daily work tasks, routines, and small steps toward larger goals. Only patience and nurturing effort will present future abundance, all in the right time. 

As Saturn also represents Time, timing is very applicable here. Without patience our efforts will have been in vain, and there will be nothing to show for them. 

BRIEF HISTORY of URANUS IN TAURUS 

Uranus' changes aren't all doom and gloom involving revolutions and natural disasters, but inventive progress, magic, science, electricity, astrology, psychology, and insight into nature's laws. It's futuristic, humanitarian, intellectual, egotistical and utopian, as previous through Taurus transits indicate: 

•1850s: Economic advancements: Expansion of railroads, mechanized agriculture. 

• 1934 - 1942: The Great Depression, World War II, women entered the workforce, radar systems developed, first television broadcast, the atomic bomb, antibiotics, penicillin, social security, and the ball point pen. 

Remember that Uranus will cross these final three degrees for a third and final time by stationing direct, so this station is highly significant and symbolizes second chances after reviewing our previous actions through them.

💫 A few years back, I read this lunation is sometimes referred to as the "Perdition Moon," however, I can find no conclusive theology that convinced me this moniker was applicable to this lunation.  In Christian theology, perdition is believed to be a state of eternal punishment and damnation into which a sinful and impenitent person passes after death. 

While Scorpio represents profound change acquired through spiritual death and rebirth, I don't personally feel that it's an "eternal punishment and/or damnation." It can be compared more accurately through nature as falling leaves and skeletal trees—the leaves themselves becoming compost to fertilize spring growth. 

Hardly "eternal punishment and damnation." More like a cyclic nature mirroring our own human lives. 

This lunation will be intense without a doubt. However, what I am going to say is that this intensity is going to provide you a perfect opportunity to overcome difficult circumstances you may face by delving inward to examine old beliefs, repeating patterns, and aspects of yourself that no longer apply to our current path but prevent us from spiritually evolving. 

Also associated with passion, emotions during this energy and can often be based on willful desire. Impatience, brooding, and easily hurt feelings can rise during this transit. Tension between the Solar/Lunar square may trigger over-reactions to things that wouldn't normally disturb us. 

Take particular note of jealousy or an impulse to judge others too quickly, seek revenge, or dominate situations through subtle means. Not just toward others, but yourself as well. It's the opportune time to examine why something triggers us. 

Is it a wound cracking the shell of something buried that we've forgotten? 

Scorpio is co-ruled by Mars and Pluto, and I have always believed that Pluto dominates the last quarter, dark, and new moon energy while Mars controls the first quarter and full moon energy with action; therefore, Pluto may trigger a desire for solitude. 

If so, it's perfectly normal to experience a need for distance. This potential desire for space will be fueled by the OOB S' Moon which internalizes the intensity of emotional influence.  

DEEPER THROUGH THE DECAN & TAROT

This lunation perfects @ 20°46', Scorpio's third decan, co-ruled by the Moon and Venus, the perfect reflection of acquiring wisdom through unsuccessful tries by releasing the attitude of "what could've been" for the hope of another day.

When our desires are unfulfilled, many are apt to abandon the pursuit; however, this is precisely when wisdom can bloom, and the realization that perhaps the timing and the place are not adequate enough fertilizer to nurture the manifestation of our dreams.  Recognizing that it's time to move on is the precursor for action. 

"The Crow" is how Austin Coppock refers to this decan, "a formula of liberation, for if we were not capable of laying our desires to rest, returning them to pure energy, we would be enchained forever, prisoners of what we once held dear." 

The Moon as a co-ruler of this decan reflects the ebb and flow of the prevalent energy of this lunation. There is a push/pull between holding onto the dream and letting go of the inevitable outcome. 

However, being Scorpio embodies the archetype of the Alchemist, there's an opportunity to alchemize the energy "of desire's hungry ghosts" as Coppock explains, who "have finally been laid to rest, the compost is complete, and a rich loam results. In the grave soil of yesterday's love, anything can grow." 

The instant preceding release is when the most pain is felt, but the instant of the release reveals the pain was in the holding on all along. 

This was the depth of lesson from Plutonian influence. It was only our fear keeping us from opening our hands or hearts to new ventures that may prove more profitable for our true desires. Not to be overlooked, traditional ruler Mars provides the courage to overcome anxiety or doubt to move forward.  

The minor arcana tarot card represented this face is the Seven of Cups, a man facing seven floating cups in the air containing different choices allowing us to weigh our options. Wisdom is required to discern whether or not what we desire is based on the illusion of our own projections or the truth, particularly regarding people. 

T. Susan Chang believes that "you may find yourself in an emotionally ungrounded state, in which good judgement seems to have absented itself and imagination has taken the reins. Enjoy the fairy gold! but don't mistake it for the real thing—the ultimate power of the Seven of Cups is to transform what is broken, spent, and corrupted into something new and beautiful."  

Lastly, take care of you, especially your boundaries at this time. Scorpios are secretive and private, with a tendency to sacrifice a great deal for others, especially when they're feeling uncertainty and doubt. The best method to gain control over such energies is realization of what they truly want. Then the forgiveness and release of anything else. 

Which, I suppose, could be considered eternal hell if we opt instead to hold on.  It's all up to us.

Early afternoon the Moon inconjunct Chiron in Aries. Take care of your health, particularly mental health. This aspect has often been associated with accidents, physical or because of not being in the right headspace. A mental adjustment that events are happening for us not against us can maintain our confidence and increase self-worth. 

Tonight, Moon in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus, ushering in potential changes in schedules or surprises—welcome or otherwise. Reconcile disparate energy through flexibility. There is always a compromise, whether we're expected to be understanding or another. Impulsivity will not serve us in the long run.

💫 Monday morning the Dark Moon 15°Aquarius47' perfects @ 7:01 AM, EST, followed by the Solar Eclipse/New Moon 

28°Aquarius50' Tuesday. 

There is no void-of-course period during the Dark Moon, and any major rituals should be postponed, as well as during Tuesday's Solar Eclipse | New Moon in Aquarius.

Why?  

The Dark Moon is a radical time of rest and selfcare symbolizing preparation for the ensuing New Moon. While we can clear clutter and set up our altar, it's more of a time for self-preparation. 

Because Aquarius represents the Maverick archetype, it's a perfect time to regress and focus on our visions. 

When the Moon transits Aquarius, there's an air of urgency to everything from causes to schedules (though expect some disruptions in those due to Uranus' influence). 

The caution here is to act with genuine intent vs. acting for the sake of acting. If we're not careful, we can become fanatical or addicted to the action itself rather than the cause behind the action. This could lead to burning bridges for the sake of watching a fire rather than for our own good.

Goddess Power

There are goddesses that can enhance our experience through this lunation, such as Hecate & Lilith. 

Hecate

Hecate is associated with the Moon, the underworld, spirits of the deceased, and a variety of plants, both healing and harmful. 

Because of the nature of duality this Dark Moon symbolizes, she would be perfect to call upon. 

She is revered as the Keeper of the Keys, a bearer of light who unlocks the hidden gateways to wisdom, wielding twin torches that cast light upon the journey.  

In moments when we find ourselves at a threshold or crossroads, uncertain of which path to choose, we may seek the counsel of Hecate for her guidance.

This lunar phase symbolizes release, marking a period for endings, banishments, and severing ties. Therefore, when making decisions in transitional spaces (hello, Hecate), an ideal time to relinquish the old and cross into the new. 

Lilith 

Lilith is widely recognized in Jewish tradition as a seductive demoness who haunts men's dreams at night and is said to harm infants. She is depicted negatively in these narratives, often portrayed as Adam's rejected first wife.

Barbara Black Koltov, PhD, portrays the Shadow woman in this tradition as one who resists subjugation, embodying the irrational and rebellious facets of womanhood, along with the fears that thrive in the darkness of the night and the new moon.

She inspires fear and revulsion, as she alternately is a nubile, young woman who seduces men and leads them away from their pious lives, and an ugly hag who brings death and kills babies descended from Eve, out of revenge upon Adam.   

In "The Book of Lilith," Koltov explores the mythology surrounding Lilith, detailing the rituals, customs, and purification rites practiced by both men and women to safeguard themselves against her influence. 

These include adhering to particular guidelines prior to marital sexual relations and employing birthing amulets for mothers and newborns. These amulets were inscribed with spells and pleas to placate Lilith, aiming to deter her from claiming the lives of infants.

Lilith's origins are believed to trace back to ancient Sumer. She is associated with the Sumerian goddess Lilitu, whom Demetra George characterizes as "an emanation of the venerable winged Bird Goddess".

She is also depicted in Sumerian mythology as a youthful servant of Inanna, the Sumerian Queen of Heaven and Earth. Her role was to guide men from the streets to Inanna's temple for holy ceremonies that included the sacred sexual rituals of that era.

Regrettably, the rise of Hebrew culture led to the decline of ancient Sumerian spiritual traditions and practices. This shift was largely due to the belief that spiritual salvation is achieved by renouncing bodily desires. 

These views have diminished women's spirituality to just wisdom and purity, eclipsing the concept that female divinity arises from the holiness of her sexuality and the power of her physique.

While the ancient methods of Lilith's interaction with her followers are no longer known, contemporary authors like Demetra George in "Mysteries of the Dark Moon" and Betty De Shong Meador in "Uncursing the Dark" offer thought-provoking insights into engaging with Lilith in ways that are positive and healing.

The essence of a ceremony lies in its origin from the heart, embodying the sincere intentions of letting go. These intentions are intimate, so too is the energy summoned for support: God, the Great Spirit, Angels, the Goddess, or your Spirit Team - all energies of love spring from the Source, enveloping you in its protective light.

Our Moon sign reflects how we nurture ourselves, symbolizing our comfort zone and sense of safety. In contrast to the sun, which is governed by logic and the divine masculine, the Moon evokes a primal, psychic sensation.

To many astrologers, eclipse energy is a powerful teacher, catalyst, and deeply 

transformative period in our lives. So powerful that the course of our lives can be altered at this time. This can include abrupt and unexpected changes involving beginnings and endings.

Some cultures believe a Lunar Eclipse brings bad luck, so they refuse to eat during the event. They keep their food covered so it will not become contaminated by the bad energy.  Others report feeling a greater sense of peace, and a higher overall level of understanding.

SOLAR ECLIPE | NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS

Eclipse season is accompanied by intense and often accelerated peaks of action, so don't be surprised if you hear or read about escalating global tensions (as if there weren't enough already).  

When accompanied by a New Moon, especially in the sign of the Maverick Aquarius, we could feel rebellious, particularly toward those in authority; thus, the potential for increased tension. 

That's because release becomes necessary to avoid emotional overload. A humanitarian cause or personal project is the perfect opportunity to dispel pent-up stress and the abundance of creative energy. 

Self-expression is imperative, as is control of erratic behavior, aloofness, or unpredictability, especially if working with others. 

We may feel emotionally independent and detached during this event, attributing it to a potential lack of our own understanding the emotional needs of others rather than them personally can balance out any loneliness and/or isolation we may be experiencing.

VOID-OF-COURSE MOON

If you've ever witnessed this event as I have (in a park when young) you can see the beauty of it crawling along the ground in a unified action, burning away the old and infirmed patches of unhealthy growth to make way for the new. 

Imagine this "Ring of Fire" burning from within your heart and through your body, mind, and particularly thoughts, even homes as we rid ourselves of clutter that hinders our development. Behind it comes the cooling spray of water to fertilize the growth of new beginnings. 

Then imagine it spreading away from us, crawling across the globe - across every country, burning away outdated philosophies and militant regimes of oppression. 

Visualize the cooling rain fertilizing healthy beginnings representing unity and love.

Change begins with us, and this Annular Eclipse and New Moon provide the perfect celestial opportunity to join a collective of like-minded souls to plant the seeds of new growth in outdated patches of dirt where nothing healthy seems to survive.

Venus in Pisces conjunct North Node in Pisces, fueling the need for deep introspection and the development of self-awareness.  A potent aspect emphasizing profound relationships and the desire for beauty and balance in life. The NN in Pisces is about releasing the desire to control others and/or circumstances. It involves an inward focus rather than outward for what we desire.

Moon conjunct Medea in Pisces can enhance abilities such as compassion, empathy, and healing through the arts. It's important to establish healthy boundaries to avoid building resentment toward others' expectations rather than our own ability to say "No." 

Providing emotional support is possible without draining our mental and physical coffers.

💫 Saturn/Neptune Conjunction 0°00' Aries point discussion. 

No major aspects today so I want to discuss the upcoming Saturn-Neptune conjunction. The conjunction perfects tomorrow (Friday) morning @ 11:53 AM, EST. 

This conjoining influence slowly began last March, and we will continue to feel its effect until May 2027, with the full cycle (7° allowable orb [though some astrologers say 9-10°]) spanning roughly 2023-2028.

The exact conjunction will occur at the 0° Aries Point, a critical degree I spoke about earlier this month when answering a question from one of my annual subscribers. I'll be discussing that in more detail below. 

But first, some pertinent details: 

Neptune stationed retrograde July 4th, 2025, and backed into Pisces on October 22, 2025.  

Saturn joined Neptune & Pluto in the retrograde parade July 13, 2025, and re-entered Pisces on September 01, 2025. 

While these are significant retrogrades, the close brush in mid-July occurred within minutes of one another during the retrograde phase of these two celestial bodies, while this conjunction occurs when both planets are direct. 

The mid-July brush occurred as Uranus entered Gemini. As if these rare occurrences weren't enough - the Uranus-Pluto midpoint will come within 01° of the Saturn/Neptune conjunction, then partile with Saturn in July followed by Neptune in August. 

Needless to say - this summer is going to radically define our country's future (so I believe) and go down in history. 

THE PLANETS

SATURN

Among other things, Saturn is a seeker of Truth. An ancient Saturnian proverb states, "what goes up, must come down." 

Maybe it's my Capricorn Moon (ruled by Saturn), that has me eschewing heights, literal or metaphorical. My father used to say, "The higher you go, the harder you fall," referencing pride.

Not the healthy pride that one takes in an accomplishment but the unhealthy ego-based flaunty style. 

Saturn also takes great pleasure in limitations, including the rule-of-law that grounds us as a society. The sense of permanence and inevitability if defied are absolute—what goes up must come down—which defines our humanity. 

Saturn loves continuity and discards what doesn't serve its purpose. Anyone who has experienced a Saturn return as I have can vouch for that truth. 

This planet doesn't play and will evict you from your complacency to save your life, even if it feels like you're being sent to your death at the time. 

NEPTUNE

On the other hand, Neptune is enshrouded in mystery and functions remarkably well in our fantasies and in other, less clear-cut avenues. Attempting to define Neptune is like attempting to define a thick morning mist.  

You reach out to touch, your hand penetrates its cool skin. It's living a surreal dream that's incomprehensible—an ideal or fantasy. We experience its presence whose meaning is beyond our grasp. 

Therefore, our only option is to commit to deciphering it, which will prove challenging and unpredictable. Neptune, Poseidon to the Greeks, god of the sea was known to command winds, storms, and earthquakes. Yet, the sea is so vast and he is always lost, even though contentedly so. 

It is in this disorientation of ocean currents, pulling and pushing, where the enchantment of the unknown, the awe of discovery, and the wonder of being come into play. 

SATURN NEPTUNE CONJUNCTION

Saturn and Neptune together make up the archetype of the "Spiritual Seeker". The combination of Saturn's love of truth and permanence with Neptune's penchant for mysticism and mystery creates an energetic field ripe with spiritual possibilities. 

This multiplicity of options can give rise to many intriguing arguments, but they never settle into certainty or conclusiveness as much as they dissipate into the fog of the untouched, the unsettled, and the concealed mysteries we strive for, but may never be privy to. 

MEDICINE

What can be done during this transit to maintain a healthy balance of truth and permanence Saturn craves with the mystery and unknown Neptune exudes? 

In one word: Nature

As someone who can stare endlessly upon hours into the night sky and never truly comprehend its glory, I rely on the Earth to keep me grounded. The grass beneath my soles and 

palms of my hands. The weight of my body anchoring me against all that zero-gravity of infinite space.

In my younger days I would climb mountains and absorb the uncertainty of height (Neptune) while pressing my feet harder into the rock beneath me (Saturn) for assurance of footing against the distance of space. 

The same methodology could be applied to deep sea diving. Floating through an endless depth of a murky unknown (Neptune) whilst looking toward the surface at the certainty of the sun (Saturn). These are tangible examples reflecting the contrast of Saturn/Neptune working in conjunction with one another. 

If you're not near mountains or oceans, desert canyons will work. Anything solid providing an expansive view of the distant unknown. What I mean by distant unknown is an area without a progressive view (cities, towns, power lines, etc.). 

Lastly, don't forget about the expansive space inside you, easily accessed through meditative practice. We all have a sacred space within us waiting to be visited. 

It's also another way to experience the contrast of Saturn and Neptune, through the certainty of being grounded offset by the uncertainty of traveling through the mind's infinite access to the Universe. 

It, too, requires a quiet lack of worldly distractions that so easily enable us to forget ourselves, who we truly are, and how connected we are to all known truth and hidden mysteries. 

It's not just nature that provides the link to truth, but the nature of ourselves as well. 

HISTORY OF THE SATURN/NEPTUNE CONJUNCTION

You all know I love history, and at times felt I'd missed my calling until delving into astrology's past. Now I know I'm right at home! 

I referenced Gary O'Toole in a previous article because the brush between Saturn and Neptune occurred in the Lunar Year of the Snake, and he wrote something significant regarding the 2025/2026 conjunctions, "The last time this conjunction took place was 1989 in Sagittarius and Pūrvāṣāḍhā, a lunar mansion ruled by the water goddess, Āpas. The 2025 and 2026 conjunction takes place in Uttara Bhādrapada, a lunar mansion ruled by Ahirbudhyana, the serpent of the deep. 

The touch between these two planets fell right in line with the Lunar Year of the Snake, associated with wisdom, intelligence, shedding, and rebirth. The snake also symbolizes the pursuit of love and happiness, both of which are certainly worth fighting for and are reflective of the current political atmosphere of the U.S. 

The arrival of the Red Fire Horse brings us from the shadows the snake relished into the bright Sunlight that fuels this steed. 

The Horse represents freedom, travel, and vitality. There is a saying: “On the ground, watch the Horse; in the sky, watch the Dragon.” The Horse belongs to the human world—it carries people forward, breaks boundaries, and turns ideas into action. 

Back to History—

Conjunctions, especially those involving outer planets like Saturn and Neptune, are often associated with significant cultural shifts and changes on Earth. Occurring roughly every 36 years, these conjunctions represent periods where the merging energies of these planets can be attributed to influencing societal structures, cultural trends, and individual experiences. 

There are approximately seven conjunctions in between this one and previous, as far back as about 2,500 years to 500 BCE. 

1989-1991:  Dismantling of old structures and the emergence of new possibilities that continue to impact the world today. 

• The World Wide Web was invented, revolutionizing methods of connection and communication and opened the future for the digital age. 

• The fall of the Berlin Wall was arguably the defining moment of this conjunction. The event ended the Cold War and signaled the collapse of communist regimes in Eastern Europe. 

• The dissolution of the Soviet Union. The dismantling of the wall was not just a physical act but a powerful symbol of hope and reunification.

1952-53: The end of the British Empire and the Korean War. The death of Joseph Stalin and the discovery of the helix structure of DNA.

💫 First Quarter, OOB Moon in Gemini: Turning Inward toward the Light of Self to balance the tightrope of light and dark.

This is a mutable square — Gemini Moon to Pisces Sun that occurs @ 7:28 AM EST this morning. It's a day to be adaptable to situations or circumstances in order to rise above them if necessary.

As the sun sets in the west, we can observe the Moon directly overhead. This phase of the cycle is often referred to as a 'crisis of action,' where we must consciously strive to actualize the new 'seed' and prevent the nascent impulse from fading. 

It's imperative to keep moving forward, if only in our minds and not allow insecurities to hinder our progress. If our desires or needs align with our destiny, things will unfold, and whatever has begun will continue to flourish, even if we're practicing a sacred pause. 

Now is the moment for us to exert our will and realize the intent of the new 'seed.

Whether outward and chatty—particularly with the OOB N' Moon indicating overt action—or withdrawn and introspective from the influence of a personal aspect in our chart, we should keep nurturing our dream, even when all we can see is half-light.   

This phase is a crucial phase for growth, which takes strength for a plant to break through the earth; or a human to break through a challenge. Being it's the phase after setting New Moon intentions, it's a reminder that light is inching its way across the horizon of circumstance and will soon fully illuminate the situation.

DEEPER THROUGH THE DECAN & TAROT

The above message is solidified by Gemini's second decan, ruled by Jupiter and Mercury, where this lunation perfects. With Jupiter and Mercury, "a delightfully abundant and curious energy" is accompanied by a "clear potential for overthinking," according to Nicola Allan, astrologer and author. "Jupiter produces a wonderfully expansive quality but also the risk that thoughts generated by mercury become amplified to an unhelpful extent," she adds. 

Austin Coppock, a leading figure in traditional astrological magic, refers to this decan as "'The Apple of Eden,' referencing the curse of knowing incumbent upon the taster once the forbidden fruit has been sampled." It's only through the realization of "the duality within all things" and "the multiplicity within all unities, the complexity in apparent simplicities" reveals "the capacity to code all things." 

However, too many options can split attention and create frustration or anxiety that could possibly lead to analysis-paralysis. It's important at this time to turn off the monkey mind and rest through meditation or some alternative relaxation method. 

The associated tarot for this decan is the Eight of Swords, representing the 'Lord of Shortened Force.' The woman in the card is bound by possibility, but unable to see the forest for the trees. Her inability to move in any direction forces her to turn inward in order to navigate this process. This goes against Gemini's logic and reasoning ability; however, it's also imperative to check in with the compass of our heart. 

YANG ENERGY

This lunation can be compared to Yang energy - a determined resoluteness to acquire those intentions set during the New Moon phase. The moon is moving towards its full brightness in this “yang” phase of its development. It is determined to get from where it is now to where it finally wants to be - full of potential. 

Inch with the light and ask for strength, not just physical strength, but the spiritual strength to believe in the manifestation of your intentions despite only seeing half the light. This will take not only strength but focus and determination. Pull in that Yang energy to compliment the Yin. 

View this phase as a training ground, one that gauges your resolve in reference to your desires. Are you willing to do the work required to attain your goals? Are you influenced by those around you, or do you follow your heart? 

Lastly, the inching light is not a sudden flash, blinding you on your path—it's a slow, steady process that allows you time to contemplate your next step. 

Whether that next step is a sacred pause to check the compass and gauges of your heart, or a clear and resolute knowing the direction to turn, both are considered moving forward.

💫 Mercury Stations Retrograde in Pisces @ 10:48 PM, PST, and Thursday @ 1:48 AM, EST:  Keep Your Eyes on the Prize—Don't Be Distracted by Illusions.

Mercury is the fastest planet in our solar system (the Moon is a luminary). Its orbit is ecliptic; therefore, it's speed around the Sun isn't constant. When it begins to slow down to less than 40 minutes of arc per day, it's entering a "storm" in preparation of its upcoming retrograde. 

All retrogrades are optical illusions from our perspective on Earth. Mercury stations retrograde 3-4 times annually by appearing to move in a backward orbit. This phenomenon occurs because Mercury's orbit "laps" the Earth. It can be compared to passing anything on the road. The object that you pass, another car or bicyclist, for example, can appear to be moving backward even though it's still moving forward.

Yet, despite this optical mirage, astrological research and study have revealed throughout time has been associated with whatever resides under the realm of Mercury's umbrella: breakdowns or failures in communication, business technological glitches, and travel disruptions. 

The effects of a retrograde can vary depending on the sign it's occurring in. This retrograde occurs in @ 22°PISCES33'. Pisces is a mutable water sign traditionally ruled by Jupiter; however, the modern attribution of rulership is Neptune, the dissolver of boundaries, begging us to release rigid structures for intuitive guidance. 

Pisces is known for its adaptability (mutable), compassion, understanding, and spiritual transcendence reflected in the astrological new year of Aries' season. 

DEEPER THROUGH THE DECAN & TAROT

As touched on above, this retrograde occurs in the final decan of Pisces, doubly ruled by Mars at the very end of the astrological new year.  

This decan is referred to as a "Bowl of Blood" by Austin Coppock, a leading figure in traditional astrology, who relates it to "the attainment of one's desires, no matter the cost."  

Pisces, ruled by the 12th house, can be "littered with broken dreams and failed martyrs—those who find themselves to an illusion," Coppock adds. 

However, this house is also related to the attainment of spiritual heights; therefore, we do have the opportunity here for a favorable ending and the attainment of our goals, which require disengaging the romantic for the knowledge of what we truly wish to pursue with all we have. 

Thanks to Agrippa, author and astrologer, there is a cheery aspect to this decan that reflects "a naked man or youth, and nigh his signification for rest, idleness, delights, fornication, and for embracing of women." This is solidified by Johannes Angelus, who writes, "it is a face of fornication and the embraces of great delight with women and loving peace and quietness."

The associated Tarot is the Ten of Cups, indicating a blissful scene of a happy couple under a rainbowed arch of cups, their children playing gleefully upon a beautiful landscape. T. Susan Chang refers to this decan as "The Rainbow Unwoven" and writes, "If you choose the right endpoint, bliss can shimmer into view." 

Mars brings double motivation, and Jupiter, traditional ruler of Pisces, is the expansive leap to arrive. This decan may inspire lust; however, according to Coppock, "the true object of passions is a merger with the universe itself. The face and body of the beloved are a mask, and entry point into the experience of all-as-bliss."

The storm preceding a retrograde is a signal to prepare, just as we'd prepare for any tangible storm on the horizon. We would most likely carry in or secure anything that could be blown away by heavy winds. 

Plan your budget according to the following 'Do's' below so that you can have necessary services during the retrograde period. Also double-check any current engagements you have scheduled that may involve some of the 'Don'ts' below. 

An example would be an agreement meeting regarding the execution of a contract. Now is the time to prepare so that you're ready when the time comes.

💫Chiron Stations Direct in Aries: Forged in the Flame; Time to move on.

Chiron stations @ 22°35' in the 3rd house, the natural realm of Gemini ruled by Mercury. This is the house of awareness and side-by-side relation/partnerships. 

During retrograde, it was important for us to note patterns that may have been overlooked, as well as triggers too painful to previously face. 

Yet, if we reached for that higher thought and reminded ourselves it's all part of the process, then healing could take place without resistance. 

Chiron in Aries represents the wound of "self". Maybe something we don't want to face but can't be ignored if we want to experience growth. It's also important to run a biwheel to discover exactly how this placement will affect our own personal Chiron placement. 

If you're experiencing a Chiron-return, then the influence will differ from those who are not. 

Surrender was a good definition to remember when facing inadequacy, doubt, and low self-esteem/worth in order to rise above these issues. This may have been quite a challenge, especially if the wound was deep. And maybe we just scratched the surface, and healing is still in process. 

But for the escapists, there's going to come a time when we must clean our wounds in order to reach the summit. It will help to know that obstacles are typically of our own accord and that some pivoting of thoughts and/or beliefs are required. There is truth in the wound; there is also freedom.

Living with the negative effects of Chiron throughout our lives prevent us from reaching our full potential as humans. The transformation of our own wounds into something positive is crucial in understanding the overall process of energy transformation. Everything in the Universe begins with self, that includes the power of healing and transforming. 

So, what are wounds of self? Fear of abandonment. Betrayal. Unrequited Love. 

While all Chiron placements are painful, Aries is directly related to who we are as a person. 

This station, occurring in the house of awareness/ side-by-side relation/partnerships provides clues as to how this healing can take place. Most Aries are confident, courageous, daring, and strong. 

However, an unhealed Aries placed Chiron could reflect the opposite of these traits. We could experience anxiety, self-doubt, and fear. If we are experiencing any of these traits, then these are our Chiron wounds, asking to be healed on a deeper level. 

This is why pattern recognition, or awareness of triggers is vital. Examine whatever causes feelings of abandonment, betrayal, or unrequited love. Then flip through your life and see if the pattern has been repetitive. If not, then there's a good chance that we have closed ourselves to the potential experience. 

A former mentor, called "Old China", told me once that I guarded my heart like a precious vase that could be broken. But if I allowed it to break, I could sweep up the pieces and no longer fear. 

The Japanese art of kintsugi demonstrates the beauty of brokenness by fusing the pieces back together with gold. 

The scars that fuse on broken skin are stronger than skin itself. But we must be willing to tend the break in order for it to heal.

Late afternoon OOB S' Mercury conjunct Juno in Capricorn, conjoining Juno's relatedness principle with Mercury's mental expression, emphasizing the importance of mental and verbal communication in one's relationships. 

With Mercury OOB S' we may experience the capacity to articulate important ideas, concerns, and feelings to one's partner, thus contributing to sharing and intimacy, according to Demetra George. Or, we could experience difficulties articulating our feelings, which may lead to misunderstandings that produce conflict and potential manipulation and/or denigration of others. 

Whichever emotional realm we're in is what will be accentuated with this aspect. 

Deeper through the Decan & Tarot 

This station is occurring in the third decan of Gemini (20°-29°), ruled by the Sun and Saturn, and represented by the minor arcana tarot card, Ten of Swords. 

Unlike the first two decans of Gemini, which reflect discovery and exploration, this one reflects choices—as in judgements must be made utilizing awareness. Austin Coppock refers to this face as "An Executioner's Sword. . .to achieve actuality, a multitude of possibilities must be sacrificed." 

Here we must bear our weight learning to make life-and-death decisions; however, "this face teaches levity, the dual revelation of life as comedia/tragedia. For the wise laugh even as the executioner's blade descends," adds Coppock. 

Of course, "death" typically doesn't imply literal, but the ending of a cycle, perfectly depicting the wounded healer, Chiron, stationing direct after a long retrograde through the fiery furnace of Aries. Beginnings always ensue endings regardless of the type—even in physical Death there is a new spiritual beginning. 

So, thus, are patterns we choose to end. Associations we choose to terminate. And awareness we opt to heed.  Just as the year of the Snake in Chinese astrology is the year of old skins cracking open, shedding and deep emotional clearing, so Chiron stops looking back and decides to step forward in whatever choice we've made for ourselves. 

May we each discover the magic of transformation and courage of Aries face truth and freedom in the wound—both waiting to be released.

💫Full OOB Wolf Moon in Cancer @ 5:03 AM, EST, 8th house, the natural realm of Scorpio co-ruled by Mars & Pluto. 

The first Full Moon of the 2026 Gregorian calendar comes in not only howling but out-of-bounds as well. Known as the Wolf Moon, "Emotionally Tenacity" is the key phrase. 

What is more interesting about this celestial event is that in addition to the Moon, both Mercury and Mars (co-rulers of this decan) are also out-of-bounds south, whereas the Moon is north. 

Note: There is a distinction here between OOB North and South—North is more outward expression/behavior while South is more inward observation and reflection. 

OOB Planets

OOB planets can go one of two ways: firstly, they can produce exceptional creativity exceeding the potential of expectations; secondly, they can be erratically unpredictable and go to extremes that can detrimentally affect others, including themselves.  

Those with OOB planets, to put it simply, like coloring outside the lines. That can be considered a creative genius or dangerous liability. Whether the declination is North or South is equally important. The North N' is considered more outgoing whose actions affect the world, while the South S' is more internalized and expressed through communication such as writing or speaking.

An OOB Moon is a luminary of emotions and instincts which will provoke intrigue of the unknown. We should guard against becoming too indistinct or far-fetched. Our challenge will be to associate within the confines of safety rather than seclusion. 

Moon in Cancer

The Moon is dignified in Cancer, so this will strengthen its influence as well as our response. When a planet is dignified, it enables us to control our circumstances, which is perfect, as the Full Moon is the time of greatest power and corresponds with the intentions did you set for the New Moon in Sagittarius December 19th, 2025.  

When occupying Cancer, whatever has been buried will come to the surface, accentuated via the 8th house signature—delving into the depths of transformational truths to regenerate. It can be an incredible time for awakenings, deep healing, forgiveness, and pouring emotional momentum behind manifestations or release. 

Cancer is associated with maternal nurturing, but at times can be patronizing and apprehensive about matters outside of their control. The minor arcana tarot card associated with this decan is the Three of Cups. Cups represent the element of Water: Emotions, relationships, intuition, and love. 

In this auspicious card three women dance in spontaneous delight, filled with joy expounded by friendship and sharing. The pumpkins symbolize a time of ripeness and thanksgiving. Our relationships ripen and grow when you openly celebrate them, an indicator of the presence of Mercurial magic adding to the merriment. 

Austin Coppock refers to this decan as "A Walled Garden", adding that "the great secret. . .is the power of right incubation . . .where something precious is kept." 

This is evident by the overflowing cups (Golden Art Nouveau Tarot) that the harvest of effort is the celebration. 

These two planetary influences (Fire & Air) have an interesting relationship within this watery decan and work cooperatively to provide safety (Mars) within celebration (Mercury). We are also ourselves when we feel secure with others, allowing our true natures to be revealed amongst trusted companions. 

The true nature of this decan and lunation is not so much what is being protected but what is being nurtured to fruition. Perhaps the intentions set during last month's new Moon aren't ready to manifest but require a nurturing greenhouse until firmly rooted and ready for transplant out in the world.

Midafternoon the OOB Moon conjunct Jupiter Rx in Cancer, ushering in relief from the previous aspect. Petty foibles no longer try our patience, and opening up to others becomes much easier if we take it slowly. This transit has a tendency to mirror what we give back unto us, so make sure its nurturing support.

💫 Last Quarter Moon in Libra: Judge's Moon accompanied by an extended Void-of-Course. 

This lunar stage is often referred to as the last quarter square because it zeroes in on our outer wounds, or point of focus whenever we get triggered: it's a determiner that sets the gauge of how we react: do we tend to blame who or whatever triggered us rather than focusing on what needs healed within us?  

Spiritual maturity dictates that the recognition of our triggers or areas within us that need healed is all a part of our divine blueprint to nudge us onward. 

We KNEW what it would take to evict us out of our complacency—and just who or what it would take to honor the process. If some "one" or some "thing" appears to be a 'bane' of our existence, there is a purpose for that presence, and the lesson is imperative. 

Recognizing that the purpose is here to serve us is one of the first spiritually "coming-of-age" signs. Perhaps the situation is teaching us to set boundaries, use our voice, or take action. 

Drop down into the heart and listen. 

Last week's Full Moon in Cancer opened the door to release and forgiveness. This lunation will show us exactly where we still have more work to do. This lunation precedes the New OOB Moon in Capricorn tomorrow afternoon. There is no void-of-course during this phase, so all rituals are a go in this 24-hour period.

Call upon mighty Hecate (Hekate), goddess of the Moon, crossroads, and magic to illuminate the torch of our understanding. Hekate is conjunct the Moon in Capricorn at the time of this perfection. It's a wide conjunction, but there, nonetheless. She is also conjunct Pholus, the centaur who represents healing, transformation, and the unexpected. He's also known to take the lid off to reveal what's inside.

Between Hekate's torches illuminating the darkness and Pholus taking the lid off, we can expect to be transformed by a truth within us if we choose to do the work, particularly with the 8th house signature of transformation through alchemy. 

It has been scientifically proven that the Moon affects the tides of the largest bodies on Earth through a gravitational force. If the largest bodies on Earth are affected by the Moon, how can our own not be? After all, our human bodies 50-75% water. It's during this movement that transformation can take place.

This may be at odds with the Moon's natural disposition to remain within the safety of the familiar. A good compromise is a comfortable day trip within known surroundings. 

This not only gets you away from domestic life but keeps you in a familiar area, especially if it's somewhere you've been before, such as a museum or art exhibit. Don't be surprised if you meet new people from different backgrounds.

It seems he has no room for anyone else in his life because money is the foundation and his primary love. 

Yet will he ever be satisfied without true connection to others? 

While the Sun and Mercury are excellent business partners, with commerce, trade and business partners combine with authority and recognition, the danger here is to not become so focused on attaining wealth that we overlook the importance of connections. Even more concerning is the propensity for greediness. 

T. Susan Chang refers to this decan as "Money in the bank. . .money is on his mind, in his heart, beneath his feet. He faces forward unflinchingly, for if he blinks, someone might filch a coin!" 

This face is also associated with downfalls from the weight of responsibility. Austin Coppock warns "only high places bring with them the danger of terrible falls." Equally interesting is that when this card is reversed, the weight of finances is upon the bearer.

OOB DARK MOON ASPECTS

Early morning Mercury conjunct Mars in Capricorn. While this aspect lends a powerful energy to our intellect, which in turn promotes inspiration as well as a desire for debate, which can be taken too far. Guard against egotistical behavior, defensiveness, and irritability that creates conflicts over trivial matters. Sometimes not defending our position to prove a point is the only defense it needs. 

Mid to late morning, the OOB Dark Moon in Capricorn Square Chiron in Aries conjunct Mercury in Capricorn. Intricate emotions fueled by insecurities. Creating a healthy self of self-worth includes holding space and nurturing our own wounds as we would others shapes the potential for healing growth. Seek information that influences our mood toward a more positive outlook will help. Communicating our feelings to someone we trust has a positive impact if we tend to overthink. 

Don't get sidetracked by trivial matters and lose focus on what's important. 

Early through midafternoon, the OOB Dark Moon sextile Saturn in Pisces conjunct the Sun in Capricorn. We may feel like self-isolating to balance emotional needs with our obligations. The New Moon conjunction can recharge energies and meld mind and heart. However, if we feel depleted, it's okay to rest. There's powerful energy at play here and it doesn't affect everyone the same. 

OOB NEW MOON ASPECTS

Late afternoon, the Sun/Neptune sextile creates an easier opening to give and receive. With the Moon now inbound, a heightened intuition, spirituality becomes important to us, and we must just realize that helping those less fortunate rescues us from insecurity and doubt. 

Tonight, the New Moon conjunct Venus in Aquarius. The energy has shifted from Earth to Air; therefore, we may feel like socializing. Existing relationships receive a boost, and domestic beautification appeals to us. Guard against overindulgence, whether shopping, eating, or drinking.

💫 Taurus is uncomplicated and focuses on the desire to sate its sensualities. We want a comfortable and safe home, to feel fulfilled from a satisfying meal, and money in the bank to take care of our needs. 

Everyone wants most of these things daily; however, these desires are amplified and magnetic while the Moon transits Taurus, and especially within the intensity of the 8th house.  

Venus-ruled Taurus appreciates beauty, and the simple things life has to offer. We may engage in more play at this time and are sensitive to the beauty of the Earth. 

Or feel more accepting of ourselves just as we are and even partake in childhood joys. 

Avoid indolence and obstinance and don't focus on changing others, or situations we have no control of. In acceptance lieth peace, contentment, and balance.

FIRST QUARTER MOON IN TAURUS

Many heed New and Full Moons; however, overlook alternative phases such as the First Quarter Moon. I have always viewed the first quarter phase as a reminder to keep nurturing whatever it is you've planted: dream or garden.

Keep nurturing, even when all you can see is half-light. BTW, many refer to this phase as the "Half Moon" because only half of the moon is illuminated. 

This phase is a crucial phase for growth, which takes strength for a plant to break through the earth; or a human to break through a challenge. Being it's the phase after setting New Moon intentions, it's a reminder that light is inching its way across the horizon of circumstance and will soon fully illuminate the situation. 

It can be compared to Yang energy - a determined resolutely to acquire those intentions set during the New Moon phase. 

The moon is moving towards its full brightness in this “yang” phase of development, determined to get from where it is now to where it finally wants to be, full of potential. 

Inch with the light and ask for strength, not just physical strength, but the spiritual strength to believe in the manifestation of your intentions despite only seeing half the light. This will take not only strength but focus and determination.

Pull in that Yang energy to compliment the Yin.

View this phase as a training ground, one that gauges your resolve in reference to your desires. Are you willing to do the work required to attain your goals? Are you influenced by those around you, or do you follow your heart? 

Lastly, the inching light is not a sudden flash, blinding you on your path. It's a slow, steady process that allows you time to contemplate your next step. 

Whether that next step is a sacred pause to check the compass and gauges of your heart, or a clear and resolute knowing the direction to turn, both are considered moving forward. 

Just don't give up. First Quarter Moon in Taurus: Seek alternatives to release tension rather than a barrage of missiles that will come home to roost.

VC Moon conjunct Chiron in Aries early morning. Remember during a lunar VC period things may not appear as they truly are. Rather than feed the flames of emotional doubt and insecurity, now's a great time to look back and see just how far you've come—even if it's only an inch.

Late afternoon through tonight the Moon in Taurus square Mars, Pluto, and the Sun in Aquarius. Keep in mind that while squares are the most challenging of aspects, their silver lining contains the greatest potential for growth. 

Evaluate disputes. Ask yourself if it's worth the energy. Is there an alternative to release tension rather than a barrage of words or impulsive actions that will come home to roost in the future?  Make certain you're not avoiding an issue you need to face—just face it with as much grace as possible, not with a torpedo launcher.

The Plutonian square enables us to delve deeply within ourselves for answers. Avoid power-struggles, domineering behavior or Vicky the victim mentality or manipulation—it's certain to backfire. 

These transits produce challenges to current foundations: careers, domestic life, relationships, particularly with the Solar square. Don't make mountains our of molehills, especially if you feel taken for granted. Utilize this energy toward creative endeavors rather than combative declarations.
