Neptune in Aries sextile Pluto in Aquarius: Rising with the Energies of Release

Today is a perfect opportunity to solidify something you've been contemplating releasing to make room for something new. 

The latter part of that sentence is imperative. If we focus on just the letting go aspect, it can be more difficult than if we shift our perspective to what new and exciting opportunity will take its place; therefore, shifting our point of view facilitates letting go. 

This release could be a belief, a career or relationship that is holding you back from growth, or a geographical move. This is a time the collective call is much stronger than our individual needs and we feel a part of something much bigger than ourselves. 

With the 9th & 11th houses involved, intellectual prowess is elevated to such a degree that we can almost touch our hopes, wishes, and dreams. 

There are certain things out of control here; however, choice is not one of them. Rise to the energies.

Saturn Stations in Aries & A Nodal Shift into Air & Fire: Embracing a Journey by Navigating the Limitations and Obstacles.

Saturn stations retrograde in Aries midafternoon and will backstep over these specific degrees until December 2026: 14°-07°. 

Note: August 25 thru September 11 are pertinent dates to mark on your calendar because Saturn backs into Aries’ 13°, considered one of Aries’ degrees according to the Degree Theory.

This Arian degree relates to Mars, Aries’ ruling planet, and enhances our courage to express our personal goals and take the initiative to make a decision. 

Saturn retrograde is an opportunity to review choices we’ve made and the potential to course-correct if that choice isn’t productively panning out.

This is why I never view retrograde planets as detrimental. To me they’re an opportunity to slow down, review, and reset.

THE SABIAN SYMBOLS

I am really enjoying studying the Sabian Symbols in correlation with astrology and have yet to discover a discrepancy of meaning, which is amazing to me considering how the symbols themselves were created through channeling the individual degrees of the natural wheel rather than the aspects themselves. 

For those who are unfamiliar with what the Sabian Symbols, they are a unique form of degree astrology that assigns a poetic, symbolic image to each of the 360 degrees of the zodiac. 

They were created in 1925 in San Diego, California, through the combined efforts of Dr. Marc Edmund Jones, an astrologer and philosopher, and Elsie Wheeler, a clairvoyant.

Jones symbolically selected “Sabian” to evoke the Sabian sect of ancient Mesopotamia, known for their interest in stellar wisdom. 

Jones prepared 360 index cards, each containing a specific degree of the zodiac. He presented them to Wheeler in random order. Wheeler channeled the description of the image that appeared before her inner eye. The entire set was completed in a single day in Balboa Park, San Diego.

That's what makes this correlation so astounding to me. The fact that the degrees were presented to Wheeler in random vs consecutive order; she was not an astrologer but a psychic medium. Wheeler did not focus on astrological questions but instead sought to “do something of lasting value.”

Afterward, Jones interpreted and symbols and critical interpretation of the symbols. Using them in conjunction with aspect rendering is another avenue of how the Universal threads of discovery and development connect. 

MONDAY'S ASPECTS

ASTROLOGICAL: Sun in Leo opposite Pluto Rx in Aquarius trine Neptune Rx in Aries sextile Uranus in Gemini on the 04°. I am loving the Sabian symbols in association with Barbault's Basket, so let's explore this story through their lens compared to the astrological meaning: 

Reminder: Because 01° degree is added to the Sabian symbol that you are researching (in this case, 04°), then 05° will automatically pull up on Hill’s site. That is the correct symbol. Full Buck Moon in Aquarius Discussion: The Potential Stagnancy of Fullness.  

The Full Moon 06°AQU30' perfects Wednesday @ 10:36 AM. 

This is going to be a very powerful lunation for two reasons: Firstly, Fallen Venus in Virgo square Mars in Gemini will be waning at perfection time; however, are still partile so the energy will be palpable. Venus complements Virgo's meticulous themes with a softer yet fastidious discipline, enabling the ability to reconcile the polarity with Mars in Gemini's aggressive need for security and spontaneous action without consideration of consequences.

Secondly, the Sun / Jupiter conjunction will also be waning at Lunar perfection time; however, they're still within a degree so the energy will be palpable and in the 11th house (Placidus), expanding areas of identity, confidence, dreams, goals, wishes, and associations in a heart-centered way.

Keep in mind that Barbault's Basket is still activated, making this one of the most potent lunations of the year.

Venus may be fallen in Virgo; however, the 12th is its accidental exaltation, so it complements Virgo's methodical and discriminating themes with a softer yet fastidious discipline, enabling the ability to reconcile the polarity with Mars in Gemini's aggressive need for security and spontaneous action without consideration of consequences.

Balance is achieved by utilizing the sacred pause before acting on impulse and paying attention to the small yet pertinent details and/or print. 

Dignified Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo in the 12th presents a beautiful environment for creative expansion, individual self-expression, and spiritual growth. The Great Benefic, Jupiter, is exuberant and charitable transiting heart-centered and creative Leo.

Lammas

Traditionally, August 01st heralds Lammas/Lughnasad in the northern hemisphere. While the hottest days of summer are yet to arrive, and extreme temperatures are wilting our plants, there is still magic and wonder all around us.
