Early morning, Mercury in Sagittarius inconjunct Jupiter Rx in Cancer, if we're stuck in our heads this morning, then at least be stuck with something pleasant. Adjusting our perspective to hopeful dreams and goals in preparation for the first quarter Moon in Aries coming up this afternoon. 

Focusing on the positive can serve as a balm to doubts.

💫No major aspects today, so I want to alert you to Mercury traveling OOB (-S) in Sagittarius @ 7:00 AM, EST this morning.

This occurs in the first house, the natural home of Aries ruled by Mars, who is also currently OOB along with Venus (-S & linked below). 

I am thinking of the singer Björk today, a Scorpion who has her natal Mercury in Sagittarius OOB (as do I), and her Mars and Venus in Capricorn, also OOB. 

According to a biography excerpt, she's already noted for her distinct voice, three-octave vocal range, and eccentric public persona, but has developed an eclectic musical style over a career spanning four decades, drawing on electronica, pop, dance, trip hop, jazz, and avant-garde music. 

She is one of the most influential pioneers in electronic and experimental music, so I feel you can expect magic from her during this OOB time. 

🗣Mercury OOB

This transit will affect us during the duration of the transit. Because Mercury moves pretty quickly and only remains OOB between 10-14 days, it only moves OOB two to four times a year, depending on the cycle, but only OOB with Mars and Venus once or twice a year. 

Mercury maintains a balance between nocturnal and diurnal signs, as well as a balance of elements, yet it notably lacks the stabilizing presence of the fixed signs.

Mercury is also associated with the physician and healing; thus, he carries the caduceus, a short-staff wand entwined by two serpents, sometimes surmounted by wings that is now the modern symbol for medicine. However, from a mythological standpoint, Mercury could also put people asleep or be a messenger of death, as he traverses the heavens and the underworld.
